Community Service Requirement
One of the core values of Orenda Charter Schools is generosity. Community involvement is critical to building citizens and is fundamental to our founding principles. In fact, community service hours are a requirement of graduation at Gateway College Preparatory School. Students must complete eight hours per year to graduate. Gateway College Prep graduates who have completed at least 100 hours of community service wear a sliver cord at the high school graduation ceremony.
