Gators Clip Eagles' Wings; Remain Tied for 1st

Noah Krieger pitched seven innings, recorded nine strikeouts and allowed only three hits. Catcher Sawyer Scott went two-for-three at the plate with three RBI. EJ Sanchez went one-for two with an RBI on a picture-perfect bunt. The Varsity is now 16-5 overall and 5-1 in district (first place tie with Blanco).

The JV won 11-1 over Johnson City. Luke Peterson 5 IP, 12 K’s. Gavin Calbeck 3-3 3 RBI, Reese Peterson 3-4; 2 RBI, Gavan Hutton 2-3 1 RBI. The JV is now 5-1 in district.

The teams will travel to Lago Vista on Friday as we start the second round of district play.
