    (May 10) -- Jr. Madi Gawthorp added a Bronze Medal to her cache of awards this track season as she vaulted to her best performance yet in the UIL State Track & Field Meet at Mike Meyers Stadium on the campus of UT-Austin.

  • Gators Bump Off Brahmas to Advance to Quarterfinals

    (May 10) -- The Gators defeated the Hallettsville Brahmas, ranked 2nd in the state by the Texas High School Baseball website, in a thrilling best-of-three playoff series played in Leander and San Marcos over the weekend.

    (May 2) -- This week, the U.S. News & World Report released their annual rankings of the best public high schools in the nation for 2019. This year’s rankings again recognized many open-enrollment charter schools in Texas.

    (Apr. 25) -- Last Thursday, Ethan competed at the regional golf tournament. He tied for 3rd place overall and has advanced to the State tournament for the third year in a row. (And did it with a sprained wrist!)

  • Gators Cruise Past the Crusaders; Make History With 1st Playoff Victory

    (Apr. 25) -- In the twilight of a beautiful Spring night, the Gator Lacrosse team made history with a 13-8 playoff win over the St. Michael's Crusaders, a team that had beaten the Gators earlier in the year.

  • Gators Tear Up Titans, 13-1; In 1st Place Tie

    (Apr. 23) -- The Gator baseball team won 13-1 over Manor New Tech last night to improve to 9-2 in district and 20-6 on the year. We are now in a 3-way tie for first with Blanco (9-2) and Johnson City (9-2). We will travel to Johnson City on Friday for the last game of district play.

  • Gator Softball Suffers Season-Ending Loss in "Play-In" Game

    (Apr. 22) -- The Gators got off to a 2-0 lead in the first, but couldn't stop the hard-charging Jarrell Cougars during a "play-in" game at East View HS on Monday. The winner now advances to the bi-district round of the UIL playoffs.

    (Mar. 19) -- All 5th through 12th graders attended a Swamp Fest Pep Rally Tuesday in the new gymnasium to cheer and hear about the great successes of the various athletic teams at the school.

  • Gators Clobber the Cougars, 11-0

    (Mar. 19) -- The Gator Varsity Baseball team won 11-0 over Jarrell last night. Noah Krieger pitched 4 innings striking out 5 and gave up 2 Hits. Daniel Brady finished the game pitching an inning and striking out 1. Chris Varjlen was 2 for 3 and Nick Chalman was 2 for 3 with a Home Run. The varsity is now 14-4 and 3-0 in district.

  • Jarrell Rolls Past Gators, 15-5

    (Mar. 19) -- The varsity girls lost a tough one Tuesday evening to Jarrell,15-5. The game was tied, 4-4, in the 5th inning before the visitors went on a scoring spree (11 runs).     (Mar. 12) -- After blanking Manor New Tech, 15-0, the Gators were blitzed by Lago Vista's bats 18-2 in The Swamp evening their district record at 1-1. They play at Florence on Thursday.
