    (Oct. 30) -- The Lady Gators made program history Monday night with their impressive 3-1 win over the first-seeded Randolph Ro-Hawks.   • Robotics Team Rolls On!

    (Oct. 20) -- Congrats to our robotics team! On 10/20/18 they competed at Liberty Hill HS placing 12th out of 29 teams. Overall, team placed 1st in their division and is going to 1) UIL State Championship and 2) BEST Robotics competition. Team won two awards: BEST website and BEST Photogenic (team look/costumes). Team will leave 11/28 - 12/2 for competitions in Frisco, TX.

  • Aquatic Gators Continue to Excel

    (Oct. 29) -- The Gateway swim team competed against 20 teams this weekend in one of the teams largest meet of the season at the Round Rock Invitational. The Lady Gators placed 7th overall with several top 8 individual finishes. The Gator boys finished 11th overall slipping into one top 8 individual finish.

  • Vikings Sail Past Gators in The Swamp

    (Oct. 9) -- The varsity Lady Gators fought hard, but couldn't quite overcome the firepower of the Lago Vista Vikings in a heartbreaking loss to their district rivals, 3-1. "Tough loss last night, but not unhappy with how we fought until the end in all 3 matches," said Coach Rory Tyson. Next up is a road game at Jarrell this Friday.

  • Varsity Boy's XC Team Qualifies for Area Meet

    (Oct. 8) -- Congrats to the Gateway Cross Country Teams which competed in this year's district meet. The varsity boy's team finished in third place which qualifies them to compete in the Area Meet in two weeks in Corpus Christi. The girl's team, as a group did not qualify for the Area Meet, but Madison Biddle did qualify as a result of her fast time.

  • Swimmers Make a Splash in First Meet

    (Sept. 14) -- The Gateway Swim team competed in its first meet of the season at Round Rock High School on Thursday (9/13). The girls team finished just behind 6A powerhouse RR, but beat out district rivals Georgetown, Eastview, Pflugerville and Weiss High Schools to take 2nd place. The boy's team competed well and battled it out for a 5th place finish.

    From a few small portable buildings on the frontage of Westinghouse to a 40-acre master planned campus, Gateway has grown into a truly special school community. The Gateway Legacy Capital Campaign is a multi-year fundraising initiative to complete the Master Campus Plan. This campaign raises money to pay for permanent buildings and infrastructure.

    (June 8) -- A four-run outburst in the fourth inning ignited the Clifton Cubs to a 5-2 win over Gateway, which ended its season with a 34-4 mark and the State UIL semi-finals trophy. Seniors Taylor Smith and Blake Rambusch combined on a 6-hit performance as their counterpart Carter Guinn pitched a complete game 5-hitter. Congratulations to the Gators who made it to the UIL State Semi-Finals round for the second straight year.

    (May 12) -- Nick Chalman stroked a two-out, bases-loaded "walk-off" single in the bottom of the 8th to send the Gators past the Vanderbilt Industrial Cobras, 1-0, Saturday afternoon. The Gators will play the Marion Bulldogs in a best-of-three series beginning this Thursday at 7 p.m. at San Marcos HS. Other games to follow: Friday at 7 p.m. at San Marcos HS and (if necessary) at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dripping Springs HS.

    Artwork created by 8th grade student Tru Molina was selected for the National Art Education Association's Gallery and Studio juried exhibition. There were 1,160 submissions, with 66 artworks being selected! This artwork, which was featured in the Gateway Art Show, also received a Category 4 and Silver Seal at the Jr. Vase art competition.

    (Sept. 23) -- The Gator Varsity Boys XC Runners Finished 2nd with four "top 15" finishers in the Rogers Cross Country Meet last Saturday while the Girls finished third overall with three "top 15" finishers. The JV Girls had four "top 15" finishers while the JV Boys finished 1st with five "top 15" finishers.

    (Sept. 22) -- The Gator varsity kept it close, but ended up losing to Lago Vista in straight sets Friday night. The Vikings now sit atop the district standings at 3-0 while the Gators fell to 1-3.
