Donna LeJeune, Head of School

Donna LeJeune joined Gateway College Prep in 2022 from Lampasas ISD. She has more than 20 years of education experience, including 13 as a principal or assistant principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Ms. LeJeune has a passion for witnessing the growth and progress of learners from their early elementary years through graduation.

She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Academic Studies from Sam Houston State University, followed by a Master’s of Education from Wayland Baptist University.

Ms. LeJeune loves to spend time with her three daughters watching movies, traveling, and enjoying outdoor activities. She also loves to run, having completed many half marathons and more recently, a full marathon.

Suzie Neuenschwander, Head of High School

Suzie Neuenschwander joined Gateway College Prep as Head of High School in 2022.  Prior to joining Gateway, she served as assistant principal with Leander ISD. Her career path includes a stint as a principal of a charter school for students experiencing trauma and/or have a neurological disability.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Suzie earned her master’s degree in Education Leadership from Stephen F. Austin University. She specializes in instructional leadership, positive behavior management, inquiry learning, special services and robotics.

Suzie and her husband, Jeff, have two sons.  When not on the baseball fields with her boys, Suzie enjoys kayaking, fishing, writing and drawing.

Cynthia Proctor, Head of Elementary (K-4)

Cynthia started her educational career in 1999 at Mrs. Mac's Shining Stars in Georgetown.  She went on to teach in the Taylor district, serving as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher.  She then became an instructional coach for Pflugerville ISD and has been serving as Head of Elementary at Gateway College Prep since 2020.

Cynthia earned her bachelor's degree in Interdiscplinary Studies from Texas State University and her master's degree in Education from Concordia.  She completed her Principal certification through Lamar University.

Cynthia is married to James, who is an AP history teacher and coach.  They have two children, son, Breken and daughter, Anistin. Some of Cynthia's hobbies include playing wordscape, karaoke, and enjoying outings with her family.
