Participants in the ecology club will learn and discuss environmental issues, strategies and solutions and practice the role of active environment stewards by promoting green and healthy school practices that enhance student health and learning while saving resources that include but are not limited to: recycling, campus green area creating and maintenance (pond, gardens, bird houses), tree planting, composting, and dissemination of green practices. This is a “hands-on” club and students will see the results of their learning and actions on a daily basis.
